Karmanos Cancer Center appointed George Yoo, associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, as vice president of medical affairs. Richard Gabrys, interim dean of the WSU School of Business Administration, was elected to the board of directors for La-Z-Boy Inc., the furniture manufacturer.
